Untitled (Cross St.) was presented in a gallery approached via a long rising ramp pushing into the dark underbelly of the building. As one ascending the ramp, the sounds of the street faded, and were slowly replaced by a steady drone comprised of tuned frequencies based on the axial modes of the gallery. Upon opening the door, the drone spilled into the transitional space of the hallway, and once on the other side of the threshold, it fills the space emanating from six speaker cones.

As one moved through the large gallery, toward and away from the six wall-mounted speakers, the density and pitch of the sound varied markedly. Different rhythms, combinations of different pitches, fade in an out depending on where in the space one stood, as if the sound were dividing the space into segmented areas.

Viewers were only permitted access to the work individually.
